Josh Lemon

Josh Lemon is a Total Rewards leader with more than 20 years of experience designing and managing compensation and benefits programs for global workforces. He has led teams supporting employees across 30+ countries and has spent his career at the intersection of benefits strategy, employee experience, and execution.

Across organizations and geographies, Josh saw the same problem repeat itself: companies invest heavily in benefits, but employees struggle to understand them. Important information gets buried in emails, PDFs, and portals, leaving employees confused and HR teams answering the same questions again and again.

FlashBenefits was created to solve that problem.

As an early adopter of AI and modern communication tools, Josh began experimenting with chatbots, short-form video, podcasts, and multi-channel messaging to make benefits easier to understand and easier to access. The impact was immediate: clearer employee understanding, fewer repetitive inquiries, and more confident benefit decisions.

FlashBenefits brings this practical, inside-the-business perspective to every client. The work is shaped by real-world constraints, real timelines, and a deep understanding of how employees actually consume information.

Josh holds an MBA and a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota and is fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational proficiency in German. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and their three children, and brings a creative mindset to everything FlashBenefits builds.

Christine Bertram Hary

Christine is a Human Resources and benefits communication leader with 18 years of experience supporting employees and advising HR teams. Focusing on benefits, wellbeing, and employee experience. She has spent her career working directly with employees across multiple locations, giving her a deep understanding of how benefits information is received, interpreted, and often misunderstood.

Across organizations and roles, Christine repeatedly encountered the same challenge: benefits are complex, time-sensitive, and critically important. Yet employees are expected to make informed decisions with limited guidance and unclear communication. This challenge is even greater for employees without work email, desk jobs, or consistent computer access, where traditional communication methods simply do not work. HR teams, meanwhile, are stretched thin trying to answer questions, manage content, and keep information up to date.

FlashBenefits was created to bring clarity, simplicity, and speed to benefits communication. Drawing on her background in HR and communications, Christine focuses on translating complex benefits information into clear, accessible content employees can actually use, regardless of location, role, or level of access. Her work centers on practical education, thoughtful messaging, and tools that meet employees where they are.

Christine holds a MA in Human Resource Management from Concordia University and a BS in Communication Studies from St. Catherine University. She is known for her empathetic approach, strong communication skills, and ability to bridge the gap between HR strategy and employee understanding. Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time in Northern Minnesota with her husband Kyle and their two dogs.
